Week 6 (Beebe, AR)

Tough week this week we've now ended up with zero baptism dates but still 2 to church this week Pa Bradford was down for baptism on the 15th but now Ma Bradford apparently has a problem with him being baptized and doesn't understand why he is but he still wants to get baptized from what I've heard cause i was on exchanges with a trio in Quitman when it happened so hopefully he'll still get baptized he still wants to and still came to church this Sunday so where still gonna stop by and visit him and hopefully meet with ma Bradford there and be able to help with some of her concerns and who knows maybe get them both down who knows ? But the Lord does provide as long as we just continue to exercise that faith. But other than that been pretty busy with meetings and such this week we all went and met our new mission president on Wednesday seemed like a pretty cool guy he brought a sword from the civil war he wanted me to hold he's definitely happy to serve here again this time as mission president and wants to go tracking with us he served in Arkansas 37 years ago before for his mission so he's defiantly blessed to be back. I then went on my first exchange this week to went with two elders Elder Thorton and Ollury to Quitman we got to see a really cool member that night the Ross's who showed us there own taxidermy shop ! We then went tracking the next day didn't get to meet up with any investigators but did find one new investigator who we set up a return with for them who is a Jew she wants to know more about how to communicate and be closer with her passed on family so hopefully our church will be perfect for her. After the exchanges later this week me and my companion Goose aka Elder Goaslind almost got a new Investigators on our way to give sacrament to some members after church we came by him in his front yard is from a different religion but says he had friends that where Mormon and missed placed a boom of Mormon we wanted from 20 years ago when he used to live in Utah so we where able to give him a new one said he didn't have time for a return appointment with us but was interested in checking out our church so we where able to give him a card and invited him to book of Mormon class as well he said he would look forward to checking it out and was very grateful for the book of Mormon I gave him so hopefully he'll come Wednesday to BOM class or church Sunday and will be able to add him along with some new Investigators next week! But should be able to get a date back on track this week whenever we go see pa and ma Bradford we know he still wants to just gotta help ma Bradford as well. For fourth of July we went to the rest of the Bradfords family members in the ward and got go blow up some Tenerite with Jimmy a recent baptized member in the branch. So great 4th at least rest of it In the afternoon got rained out but luckily didn't flood our apartment all day but Arkansas has had some of the most bipolar weather I've ever seen
