Sweet! Week this week! Monday we got to go Fishing and caught some wild gar! We went back & did emails at the church then had chocolate waffles! For a dinner appointment with the Bradford family. & Speaking of the Bradford family of course we got to baptize the patriarch of there family this week! Brother Bradfords dad Pa/Elvin Bradford who we've been teaching. Went over to his house on Friday with the Searcy Elders/Zone leaders Elder Smith & Adair to do his Baptism Interview! It went awesome he's been ready forever! After the interview we got to go check out some of his goats & Billy goat. We went & had dinner at President Sherwoods that night to print out the Baptismal programs for the next day! Speaking of the Branch President President Sherwood on Wednesday we got to go over to his house & help him cut down an entire giant cedar tree! In his front yard. Spent the whole day chainsawing it apart and loading it to burn piles. It was lots of work and fun though! We where #calledtoSERVICE all day. Speaking of service luckily we haven't been impacted by the hurricane at all but where stuck Inside just about all day Thursday with some flash flooding on the roads. But there was a family this week that actually came down here from Texas right before the hurricane Harvey hit! So we've got to do a lot of great service for them on Saturday as well we all helped provide them lots of clothes and bedding & gave them blessings & there currently being able to stay at a members house in the Searcy Ward while they wait for the hurricane to pass thankfully there house was just about the only one on there street somehow not covered under water. Also on Saturday as I said we got to do a great service for the Bradford family in our branch. & Got to have Jody/Brother Bradford baptize his dad Elvin/Pa Bradford. It was so great being able to be there & watching the entire family breaking out into tears. I know for a fact & have seen for myself that I know this church is true and I know that this gospel truly helps blesses & guide family's. 17 years & Sister Bradford said she never thought she would get to see the day that Jody/Brother Bradford Would get to baptize his dad Elvin. Im So grateful that I get to come out here & help bring other family's together.
