Week 15 (Beebe, AR)

Been a pretty fun motivating week this week! This last past Monday our entire District got to go to a really cool hiking trail & creek up in Heber Springs at Collins Creek together and got to grill out it was lots of fun with lots of people up there for labor day. After me & Elder Thurgood headed back up to Beebe for the night we had dinner with the Bradford family in our Branch there all really happy with Pa Bradford being baptized now. Jody/Brother Bradford said it was great getting to baptize his dad. We had burgers with them that night and a great homemade pumpkin pie crumble cake. After Dinner my companion Elder Thurgood showed there kids how to play a cool pool game called Knuckle ball. But while running all around the table Elder Thurgood fell down and ripped his shirt on the side of the pool table as he got up laughing lol. So we had to head to JC Penny the next day after District meeting to get him some new shirts. District meeting was pretty fun the AP's/ Assistants to the President showed up & we had a goal trough out the entire mission this week for every companionship in the mission to get 70 return appointment attempts with people! So a lot of great hard work and knocking this week we got to go trough a lot of really cool neighborhoods this week and we must have knocked at least over 100 doors but it's been a fun blessed week. It really motivated us on finding new people. & we have a few return appointments to follow up on next week! So hopefully they go well! Where really hoping to find another Baptism for this next transfer. We got a call this weekend from The Mission President President Hansen & found out that both me & my companion will be staying in Beebe for his last transfer this transfer so looks like I'll get to kill him off when he leaves in October! But I'm excited to stay down here still in Beebe for a little while longer and see where it goes! & takes us it's been an honor being apart of the Beebe branch and I get to continue to watch & help it Grow!
