Week 17 (Beebe, AR)

Well this week's been pretty alright enjoying my 3rd transfer here in Beebe. Had a lot of service & stuff for the members here this week. A sweet old lady in the branch who's dog we take out every night Sister Taylor just got out of the hospital & we got to help her pull out some weeds & clean up her garden this week. Afterwards this week we get to go to our investigater that were teaching with a baptisim date Richard Bradfords work at an auto sale shop and start teaching him about lesson 2 & the plan of salvation this week. He's really enjoyed it all & it's really awesome seeing it all testify to him to being true. We got to go to the church & exchange with the zone leaders/Searcy Elders later that night. I was supposed to stay here in Beebe & go with the new Searcy Elder Zone Leader Elder Ogard since my companion Elder Thurgood hasn't been on an exchange out in Searcy with Elder Adair yet. But turns out that they forgot Elder Ogard is red dotted on driving & I don't have a license so that definitely wouldn't work lol. So i just went & stayed In Beebe with my mission God Mother Elder Adair again. It was really fun we where going to teach Richard Bradford the rest of the plan of salvation in lesson 2 the next morning. But we got there and he was pretty busy cleaning up a car at his work that day but was excited to say that he could start going to church with us this week! So we told him we got him a ride and would see him then. Then we later got called up by the 1st counciler in our Branch Brother Crain to go help him out cut some wood that he has before the chilli cook off & hay ride that our Branch will be having at his house later this next month. He just recently had heart surgery so he's able to no longer use a woodsplitter to cut wood but we got to help him load up and pile up the wood in his yard & got to cut some wood for the first time a pretty fun service project! We exchanged back the next day. Me & Elder Thurgood back at Beebe got a message from Richard Bradford about a sudden loss in the family he had so he wouldn't be able to make with us to church on Sunday. But our thoughts & prayers are out with him & we look forward to meeting with him again on Tuesday & may hopefully be able to get him to come with us to church to watch general Confrence this weekend! Looking forward to it & to be able to find more people in the area of Beebe this next week!
