Week 23 (North Little Rock, AR)

Had a pretty good week this week. My surgery for my left wrist went well on Monday. They just had to push it back Into place so fourtantly didn't need any pins put in or anything but the healing for the fracture will still be the same. So I'll still be in a cast for 3 more weeks. But at least I got a new one so now everyone can check out my new baby seal blue cast lol. Even though I'll be getting another new one on the 14th. On Tuesday we had district meeting with our new district for the first time & took some district photos afterwards. None of us where allowed to go out finding or anything out that night for Halloween but Me my companion & the office elders did get to go over to a dinner appointment that night at the Elders qurom presidents house in our ward The Flakes & had pumpkin soup. We shared a message on the importance that spritual music such as hymns can have in the home. Didn't get to see much new people this week & most of our Investigaters from last week where fairly busy but we did get to go back over & try to see one of our Investigaters who we where teaching Nzina Williams & she wasn't home but we did get to meet her husband & go over the restoration & the book of Mormon & tell him what we where teaching about & it really caught his attention. He asked for his own personal copy of the book of Mormon to read says he goes on the road a lot so he could take it with him. But also told us when they where all usually back home around for most days & said he would love to sit in with us for future lessons for him & his family so that went great! We got to add to the teaching pool of one of the families we where already teaching! Also it was 500 years ago this week that Martin Luther had started the famous reformation after he had posted the 95 theses outside of the church in wittenberg in 1517 speaking against catholic practices. This was the root of the great religious freedom that we have today. The reformation was the precursor to having the restoration of the true gospel of Jesus Christ which I am so grateful & glad to be able to get to be going around & sharing today.
