1 & 21 goes This was officially my last week in Beebe. That's right I'm getting transferred Beebe is gonna be getting 2 brand new missionaries. So we're am I going well ill get to that in a bit. So as you all know my companion Elder Thurgood is going home so I've been killing him off this week. On Monday we spent just about the whole p-day trying to pawn his bike off at pawn shops for him before he goes home & no one around here wants anything to do with a bike lol so that didn't go well. My guess is that to many people probably steal bikes around here them try to pawn them off to pawn shops. So that's probably why know one would take Thurgoods bike. But luckily on Tuesday we went up & had dinner with the Bradford family & stopped by the Frees on the way they were out front collecting baby box turtles in their front yard. We were able to stop by & give the bike to them for his kids who were really excited to have a bike again so that worked out really well for them & glad we could donate. Also on Tuesday Elder Thurgood had his departing interview with our mission president President Hansen & then we got to go see our top Investigater Richard again & stop by his new work that he moved into. Unfourtantly things have been tough for him this past week to as he had a cousin hospitalized this past week. But we talked to him about his prayers & said that he had been praying for him & said that his cousin has gotten better. So our prayers are with him & his family. Luckily we got to pray with him at his work to & read some of his book of Mormon readings with him as well. He will do really well as long as the new missionaries keep working with him he looks forward to progressing & I hopefully can't wait till when I hear from him again. Our other new Investigater who we tried to see Ethan was never really home for us but sweet is the work. On Thursday we had our last district meeting in Searcy we talked about new ways for weekly planning then all took last district photos together. Had a last dinner with the Parks on Friday & did some home teaching Brother Park made us some ribs so we got to have some more good southern food before Thurgood leaves. & on Saturday we got to over to the Crains that morning for breakfast my first time in the south having chocolate gravy it was great! Saturday the Sisters had a Baptisim later in the day we went to were we got the news from the Searcy Elders/Zone leaders that I was leaving & Beebe was getting white washed I had no idea since the Presidents assistants didn't call us & tell us that morning. It was weird after a while I was actually really looking forward to staying in Beebe another transfer for my 6 month mark nothing can describe the love & gratitude I had to get to first serve with the loving members of the Beebe branch it will be tough leaving but I got the news & I look forward to going to North Little Rock in an all bike area so will see how it goes. I'm happy to serve wherever the Lord takes me. But on Sunday we got to get one last picture with some of the Branch & got to go over after church to see the Bradfords & then have dinner one last time at the Frees where I got to take a great death shot of me killing off Elder Thurgood. ( P.S. killing is when you get to send another missionary home so don't worry I havnt actually really killed anybody lol.) Can't wait to talk to you all next week & see how things first go In North Little Rock. I'm so grateful to be able to be out & serve the Lord!
