Week 30 (Glenwood, AR)

It's been a pretty slow week this week with it being Christmas week & all. But we've had plenty of fun meetings this week & have been down to hot springs & little rock for quite a bit of it. On Tuesday we went down to hot springs & had interviews with our mission president with us & the hot springs elders then got to have lunch at a fantastic members house down there the Rogers & they got stockings for each & everyone of us they love the missionaries! On Wednesday we had our mission Christmas party for the mission up in little rock. Then on Thursday we had to drive all the way back up to little rock again for a follow up appointment on my wrist that I fractured in my last area. On the good news the wrist fracture is completely healed on an other note all I have to do now is physical therapy 2 times a week for the next 6 weeks lol. On Friday we tried to go see a bunch of Investigaters & people up in Murfreesboro but it appears with it being the holidays & all none of appointments where home this week. But it's alright we got a few returns & a couple people who can't wait to meet with us after Christmas & hope they all have a good one. Also on Friday night though we did get to go to a members house Sister Hawthorne & she made us smoked & BBQ beaver! It was delicious like a more succulent pork. On Saturday As the works been pretty slow still, we decided to take a minute and prepare some gifts and stockings for a less fortunate less active family who we've been meeting with! Sister Hill's family We brought it to them as anonymous so we didn't get a picture of the reaction, but it was a truly a testimony builder of helping bring the Christmas spirit into the part member home! The smiles of the children and family was enough for us this Christmas to be happy! & then on Sunday night we even got to make cookies for people & go caroling as a district handing out cookies to people & there families. It was super awesome bringing in the spirit & rejoicing & singing songs about Jesus to others & there families. Super fun Christmas hope you all have a great Christmas as well & can't wait to talk to my family & loved ones back home.
