Had a week full of blessings this week. It's now a day after my 7 month mark but I finally burned my tie for my 6 month mark last week on Christmas at a awesome members house the Robbins & my Companion Elder Adair finally got to burn his shirt for his year mark which was like 5 months ago lol. On Tuesday we drove up to Hot Springs & had district meeting with some instruction from our zone leaders as well. On Wednesday I had physical therapy for my wrist in the morning. Then went & got to do our weekly Wednesday service at the senior center making more lunches then got to go read more D&C with a member in our ward sister Hill she's been really enjoying it & learning more she also said her boyfriend has become more & more Intrested & has been asking her questions so we got to help her out with that. It could turn out into a great missionary opportunity hopefully we get to help & teach him soon. Then on Wednesday we also got invited up by the Robbins to our Branch Presidents house with some youth to go have a bonfire & roast Smores that was super fun. On Thursday we got to go do service all day helping members in our Branch the Hawthornes helping them split & load up some fire wood for there house & others then got fed by them & the Branch Presidents family the Rowtons that night had some biscuits & gravy with deer meat yum. Friday was an awesome miracle so I got to go back for more physical therapy friday morning & it turns out that my new physical therapist Jessie is actually friends with the Robbins in our branch cause Sister Robbins used to work there & he has actually been Intrested in hearing about the gospel. He has searched several different religions wanting to know the truth & why there are so many. He has truly been prepared. I told him how we had the perfect message for him answering his questions & talked about the savior & his earthly ministry. Said he is so excited to meet back with me tomorrow! In our next appointment & give me & my companion a time to start coming by to his house & meeting with him & getting to teach him more! To think all this time I was frustrated with fracturing my wrist & having to have surgery & then getting sent down here to Glenwood to having to get referred over to a brand new physical therapy place for my wrist but Jessie has been here along just waiting to hear the gospel & the message we share in his life all of this was for a reason & I know that whatever trails we feel like we may be facing or going trough in life God prepares us for them & we may not know why we've been given them but everything is to help build us & prepare us for something greater & it all happens for a reason. If I had never had gone trough the trail of fracturing my wrist I never would have been able to meet Jessie & start to share the gospel with him in his life super excited! Also on Friday we got to go see a member who had just had surgery & have also befriended the dogs of Glenwood finally. We also got to go up with the Robbins later that night they where super pumped when we told them about Jessie & we got to go load up & give some firewood to a less active member with them to end our night & Sister Robbins made us some great Chinese food.Saturday we went out to Murfreesboro to teach a Investigater that the former sister missionaries in our area where teaching named Stephanie we actually didn't get to talk to her much cause she was busy with the kids & stuff but we got to meet & teach her husband named Jeremy & he became a new Investigater for the week & we got to give him a book of Mormon as well so hopefully now that we've caught him up to what the sister missionaries have taught his wife they can both read & pray about the book of Mormon now & we will be keeping In touch with both of them. On Sunday we got called about church being cancelled in the morning due to ice storms that never even happened lol. But we got invited to a new years eve hike with the Robbins which was awesome we hiked to the top of one of the biggest mountains here in Glenwood got to the top of Glenwood & let me tell you the Ozarks are absolutely beautiful here. It was a super fun new years eve night we got to have dinner with the Robbins as well after the hike & played a fun trivia game with them while talking about our plans for the new year as well to end one fantastic night. Amazing way to end the year & I hope you all have a great happy New one!
